The Rebalancing Bodywork Training is a self-transformational process, as well as a professional training in holistic bodywork. During the first year you will learn to systematically free the body from tensions and constrictions, so to allow the body itself to reorganize. This process brings more grace and ease of movement, a re-alignment of the posture and opens the door to stillness. You will begin to learn how to use your own body as an instrument for healing and growth. We are learning to work in a meditative way through touching and being touched. Through an energetic process to open the body and group sharing, the training can become a growth journey, during which the individual will find support in a loving and accepting atmosphere.
During the second year we will introduce the Neo Reichian Bodywork approach, awareness in movement, and deepen communication strategies while continuing to work with touch and completing the 10 session format.
In Rebalancing Training we draw from several modalities:
- Soft, deep tissue manipulation and fascia release. We are freeing tensions in the muscles, through deep, slow and skillful strokes, which are carried out with great ease.
- Joint Release. This is a mobilisation of the joints to remind the body of it’s grace in movement. Tensions and toxins which are held in the joints are released in this way.
- Breath and Energy Work
- Cranio Sacral Bodywork
- Body Awareness Training
The training is for people wanting to become fully trained therapists with a career in massage bodywork, and also for people who want a deep experience of self exploration.

Training Topics: The 10 Session System
This is a systematic approach which works on the whole body on different areas.
Session 1- Opening to Grace
Opening the chest in order to allow the breath to go deeper, releasing the diaphragm. The body will be experienced more lightly , graceful and more energetic.
Session 2 – Grounding and Understanding
Releasing tensions in legs, ankles and feet, feeling support from the ground and anchoring in stability and strenght.
Session 3- Sides “Reaching out and Receiving”
Arms, shoulders, rib cage and deep hip muscles. Supporting 3-dimensional perception ( front, back and side of body) Improves metabolic rate of the body, can support to loose weight.
Session 4 – the Pelvis
Inside leg muscles, (adductors) and the connection to the pelvis. Supporting the lower back and pelvis to find a more flexible and balanced position.
Session 5 – the Core
Belly and deep belly muscles (psoas), feeling the core in order to realign the pelvis and spine.Find ways to let go of deep feelings.
Session 6 – Being Upright
Deep muscles of the back and legs in order to help the body to be more upright, can release chronic back pain.
Session 7 – Neck, Throat and Face; Unmasking the face
Neck, throat and face, harmonizing the relation of the head with the rest of the body. Can release chronic neck pain or tensions in the jaw and eyes. Especially for people who work a lot with the computer.
Session 8, 9 and 10 – Integration
Movement awareness, relating upper and lower body, left and right brain hemisphere, the inner and the outer, the being and the doing. Open sessions to bring balance and integration to the whole. Further topics are work with acute and chronic pain, body reading – learning to read the stories we hold in our bodies and getting to know Neo Reichian Body Types.
Personal and psychological aspects of the training – exploring methods that release emotions held in different areas of the body. Deepening your understanding of anatomy.
All in all the training holds about 400 hours of instructions.
